RECSTACY is back and it’s back with a BANG! Being the annual and cultural fest of NIT Durgapur, it is the most awaited event of the year. An entire hectic year inching towards its end, the students of the college look forward to its incomparable fun. RECSTACY derives its name from the English word of ‘ecstacy’. As such, it is four days of uncontrolled glamour, fun and enjoyment.

“Culture is the interaction of people and live itself.”

RECSTACY 2016 isn’t only about fun and enjoyment. Culture is a huge concept defining a region, community and nation. It is mostly expressed through music, dance and art. Events and performances based on Indian culture will be an integral part of the festival.

“A teacher is always outshone by his students.”

RECSTACY 2015 is aggressive, innovative, better and last, but not least will provide unadulterated entertainment. Renowned artists from India and Abroad would enrich RECSTACY 2016, creating an electrifying atmosphere for the students. The expected footfall is expected to be around 8000 which have been increasing steadily over the years.

RECSTACY already has brand recognition in the eastern region of the country. The festival not only brings together all NIT-students but also students from other colleges of eastern India who wish to enthrall in the myriads of artists and compete to demonstrate their skills.
